International auto shows are mixed blessings. On the one hand, we love seeing what's going on in other markets; on the other, we hate being tempted by cars that will never, ever make it stateside. In Tokyo, it's tiny, toylike econoboxes.
Peugeot will show an RCZ R concept car at the 2012 Paris motor show - signalling its intention to turn its good-looking coupe into a more serious sporting drive. The show also marks the arrival of an RCZ facelift for the rest of the range, bringing the two-door into line with the new family face. The RCZ R will go into production, later in 2013 according to Paris.
We don’t have much time for the push to make the electric car a replacement for the ICE car. But we do applaud – and covet – the Tesla Model S for its technical ability and performance. And its tax breaks.
